Yoga Nidra is both a deeply nourishing, and illuminating practice. It is traditionally for the purpose of investigating and resolving deep impressions of the mind, bringing clarity and a deeper experience of Self Knowledge. This potential for discovery of Self offers us an opportunity to then bring that awareness into our waking life.
Beginning with an intentional restorative asana practice to prepare our bodies, we will make the descent into rest. We utilize generous propping and support to facilitate deeper release and ease. These practices nourish the mind, and body, and encourage us to occupy a receptive state.
This is a delightful and beneficial practice for all- but especially those prone to light sleep, anxiousness, restlessness, and depletion.
