Uncover the wisdom of your bones, and land in the undeniable truth of your heart. Discover movement that is an expression of the soul. This is therapeutic yoga designed to deliver you home to yourself, the ultimate pilgrimage.
Go Within
You’re not “average”, “regular”, or “common”. So practice yoga that isn’t either.
Supreme Release Yoga is devoted to the inner experience. This is yoga that is tending to the deepest layers of your body, not a surface level kind of thing.
Advanced yoga isn’t a matter of how hard you can work, how far you can bend, or how much you can sweat- but rather, your capacity to turn inward.
For it is there that you learn to hear the wisdom of your body, awaken the knowing within, commune with the stirring of your soul.
The journey follows the path of your sacred spine, each asana decompressing and liberating the most deeply held tension and patterns of your body. By supporting your body in intentional and gentle alignment, you experience the profound expansion of letting go. This is a subtle practice that is inherently rejuvenating, replenishing, and restorative.
“Yoga teaches you to love yourself, starting with the body” - Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati
Regular life views the body as a machine, something we can fix, tear apart, separate, and control. Yoga knows the body is a sacred vessel, richly encoded with mysticism, magic, and wisdom.
It has been my own experience, over years of practice, that working with the body in this way is the most soul and life affirming experience I’ve had, and continue to have. There has yet to be a more profound way in to my own inner experience than therapeutic yoga. I have unraveled the patterns of disordered eating, self-worth, people-pleasing, and shame that have previously been unreachable.
This is what I return to again and again as the landscape of my own awakening and inquiry. It is on the ground that I connect to my creativity, to my longing, to my deepest desires. When we practice together, it is an invitation into the ritual that has utterly shaped me, as an opportunity to undertake that journey for yourself.
With love,
Sonia
